Meet Jean

Owner, Licensed Certified Massage Therapist

Jean is the owner of The Oasis Massage Center and a Licensed Certified Massage Therapist with the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). She has over 15 years of experience, with over 12 years owning and operating The Oasis Massage Center as a local small business. She completed her education and training at Globe College, Healing Arts, Northwest Institute, John Upledger Institute, and many others.

Jean is skilled in all forms of traditional massage and spa services. For Jean, massage is not only a passion, it is personal. When her father became sick and hospitalized with a chronic illness, she started to research massage to help alleviate pain and discomfit. Jean immediately fell in the love with the possibility of helping others feel better naturally. From there, she embarked on several courses of study to develop the knowledge and skill to help others. Jean continues her education today.

As part of her training, Jean completed an internship at a retail massage location. It was there she quickly realized how much better massage could be, especially for those suffering from chronic pain. Jean recognized those big-box, cookie cutter massage places could never offer the level of one-on-one care needed to focus on client’s needs. A few years later, Jean opened The Oasis Massage Center the goal of providing the best massage possible.
